Having a 3d printer gave me the ability to make and test various frame designs.
All frames are built to fit 8mm brushed motors and when built had an all up weight of under 50 grams!
3D Printing Projects
As a lot of things, getting “ok” results was relatively easy but I soon found out for more challenging prints it was very difficult to get it “just right”.
These are some of the prints that I was the most proud of when I first got my printer
(well at least proud enough to take a picture)

3d Printer (2017)
By far the most useful item I have ever built has been my 3d Printer.
It is a modified Acrylic Reprap Prusa i3 that I got as a kit and built by hand in high school.
Before I had this 3d printer I used a service to have 3d printed parts shipped to me but over time as I got more into drones and CAD modeling I decided the economical option was to buy a kit.
